Scope
The NOI polls will be restricted to social and economics issues only. In a 2007 interview, Dr Okonjo-Iweala expressed her desire to stay away from national politics. As such NOI polls will not carry out political surveys like election Nigeria elects on federal level a head of state and a legislature (the National Assembly). The president is elected by the people. The National Assembly has two chambers. The House of Representatives has 360 members, elected for a four year term in single-seat constituencies. Unlike an opinion poll, which asks whom the voter plans to vote for or some similar formulation, an exit poll asks whom the voter actually voted for.
