A. As economic activity increases, wealth is created, allowing citizens to afford more children. Thus expanding the population. As the population expands, demand for water resources increases.

What is the relationship between the number of sides?
Q. If you have a polygon and draw a segment connecting two points of the polygon, what is the relationship between the number of sides of the original polygon and the number of sides of the two newly formed polygons? For example, you have a triangle. 3 sides. You draw a segment across the top part of the triangle, and have created one small triangle and a quadrilateral. 7 sides. After completing multiple problems such as these with various polygons, you should be able to notice a relationship between the two numbers. This is a geometry proof but I can't find the answer. HELP!

A. So long as neither endpoint of the segment is a vertex of the polygon, for a polygon with n sides, you will divide it into two new polygons with a total of n + 4 sides between them. This is because the endpoints of the segment split both sides into two, creating two new sides. Also, the segment serves as an additional side for both of the two new polygons, creating two more additional sides. So, there will be a total of n + 2 + 2 = n + 4 total sides to the two new polygons.

How important is intellect in a relationship?
Q. Is intelligence and intellect key to a relationship? Is it important to be of the same intellect in a relationship or is it better for one person to be more intellectual than another? Also, what if one person is intellectual in one aspect of the word, such as street smarts, common knowledge, and "living" while the other is intellectual in the aspect of knowledge, logic, and literature? Should you date a person that is less intelligent than you? Moreover, if you find someone that is physically attractive and has a wonderful personality, but doesn't know the leader of our country, is that a candidate for a long-term relationship? Just wondering what people's opinions are! =)

A. A lot of it will depend on the maturity of the person doing the dating. Some people like dumb people, others like smart ones, it's up to the individual. Frankly I don't see how anyone would want to date a dumb person, but hey, maybe its sexy.
